Electroacupuncture Technique

Electroacupuncture is a technique in which we stimulate specific areas of the body responsible for the patient’s condition. The needles, which are placed in these targeted areas, are connected to a specially designed machine (electroacupuncture device) that generates mild electrical currents at a specific frequency. Depending on the frequency of the current used in electroacupuncture, different substances are produced according to the therapeutic plan.

Contraindications for Electroacupuncture

The use of electroacupuncture is contraindicated in cases where the patient has bone implants, pumps, or pacemakers. In these cases, regular acupuncture is recommended, which also provides equally effective therapeutic results.
